This blog focuses on my projects in various media such as painting, crochet, watercolor, and drawing. Look for tips on framing, yarn selection, resources, and more.
I like bringing my own bags to the store because not only am I helping the environment and saving money, I get compliments on my crocheted bags. :) Here is one from a new pattern from Lily.
You know I think they stopped making these colors, and they were only out a couple months. However now they have a new series, called something like "heritage" and many of them are exactly the same colors as the ones in 'confectionery." Go figure. I would offer to make you one ej except I just started a new big project- tiling the house. But I will send this bag to you.

Seeing the wine bottle and apples in the bag got me thinking - how much weight will this bag support?
It will support quite a bit. Pretty much anything unless you want to tote an engine around.
I love those colors together. What yarn did you use?
It's Lily cotton, their confectionery series. These colors are "fruitcake" and "pistacio."
Lily has come out with some nice colors. Guess I'll have to get to the Big City (Albuquerque, NM) and see if there's some available.
I really like this. Is it easy for beginners? Or do I need to beg my wonderful sister-in-law to make me one if I send the yarn? :D
