Historical Dress

I made this dress for an overnight field trip I'm going on with my son. The camp recreates the 1850's. I sewed the dress apron and bonnet and crocheted lace edgings for the dress.

Shamrock Doily

From Crochet World and made with Royale Classic Crocht Thread in Myrtle Green. The green is really too bright, I mean it is very St. Patrick's-y but doesn't go with my decor. Go figure, it was all I could find when I started the project, now I can find lots of different greens.

Kitty

I made this little white kitty for my niece. It's also from the AWSCC book, though the eyes are my own.

Rachel Maddow Doll

I finally finished! Crocheted. Some embroidery. A little hairspray :).

Parrot

J needed a parrot to play pirates with. I improvised this one in crochet. I put pipe cleaners in the feet and legs to add more stability and it can actually stand.

Calculus MacBook Bag

I graphed out a couple of Alfred's favorite equations and knitted him a lap top cozy. I lined it with polar fleece and added a zipper. I hope he likes it! <3

The pattern for this crocheted owl is from Amigurumi World by Ana Paula Rimoli. I modified the wings because I wanted them more feathery looking.

Flowered Tea Cozy

This is my own design. I knitted the body in a rib with beaded rayon by Blue Heron Yarns, the color is summer meadow. The flowers are crocheted in various yarns.

Oswald the Octopus

J asked me to make him an Oswald from Nick Jr. I made some modifications to a pattern by Ana Paula Rimoli in "Amigurumi World Seriously Cute Crochet"to make it look more like Oswald.

I made this for my Mom. I saw something similar and put together other parts of some designs to come up with this.

Wrap

I made this wrap using a pattern from Crochet Today and some Moda Dea bamboo yarn in blue velvet. It was pretty easy.

Beret

I've wanted to make myself a beret for a long time. I found a great pattern in the winter Interweave Crochet.

Green Scarf

I crocheted it with Misti alpaca/wool/silk sock yarn. Though soft, it was a little itchy so I tried hair conditioner. It really does work. :)
